What is the Pacific Beach Block Party?
The Pacific Beach Block Party is the largest local Pacific Beach area event and is a time that normally begins the start of summer in the "PB" area. What was once just 2 blocks of vendors in 1976 is now a 10+ block affair with many of the soundstagers and food vendors going down Garnet some of the offshoot streets like Bayard, Cass and Felspar.
This years festival included over 500 unique arts, crafts and commercial vendors, plus over seventy five food vendors as part of the International Food Court. In addition there was popular attractions like the Block Party Kids Zone, plus the ever popular Block Party Music Festival.

It is one of the largest free events in Southern California with over 20 bands playing on six different soundstages.

What can we say.....every sound stage had great music and great bands but the Polka Dot Sound stage never stopped and had some AWESOME Trance and House music playing which had the crowd not only rocking, but jumping up on stage dancing as well.
