The Pacific Beach 2004 Block Party

Come take a look around this awesome annual event that showcases the best shops, boutiques, arts and crafts, music, and vendors in the Pacific Beach area.

The Pacific Beach Block Party had an attendance of over 100,000 people crowding the Garnet Avenue and the side streets of PB. There were over 40 bands, 8 music stages, a fun zone for kids and over 200 local merchants and food vendors.

The Kids Jam Van delivered a lot of things for kids to do including an interactive exhibit and these baskets to shoot and "dunk" on.

When it comes to great rock and music the PB Block Party had mant great bands and stages including the driving rock at the Fluid Bistro Stage.

One of the many little shops set up in the middle of Garnet Aveneue. For those who got to the event early it was quiet and easy to move around.

There was tons of great food at the event including this awesome roasted corn with butter, chile pepper, and parmesian cheese.....YUM!

The booths came in all shapes, sizes and colors including this business which sold beer chugging devices of all shapes and sizes.

The event is always a good time to say hello to friends and some of the very cool companies in the PB area including LONG HARD RIDE CLOTHING.

What can we say other than they represent everything we love about Southern California including styling clothes that are SUPER HOT and friendly and fun service.

Here is the booth for the local boxing and fitness club which just opened underneath Hooters in Pacific Beach. If you are looking for a great aerobic workout in a clean and fun enviroment this is a place worth checking out.

We were all happy to see SPAM is trying to make a comeback with the "SPAM Mobile" out in full force serving up free samples.
Look for this big meat wagon to be making a trip to your town on their upcoming "SPAM the World" world tour.

These ladies were getting the party started with some good old fashioned hoola hoops. They were great for spreading smiles and fun at the event and there were plenty to go around for passers by.

One of the new booths was the Super Soaker indoor squirt gun booth. This place would set up up with a full squirt gun and then send you in to get your friends and others wet is a big water shoot out. A good way to break up the day this was as fun to watch as it was to go inside.

The area in front of Sinbad's at about 2PM....the street was packed with visitors.

For those who got there before noon and around the 10 and 11AM time frame, this was the setting in the same area.

Although DOT Productions did not have a lot of people at the time this photo was taken they sure did rock the block party with some AWESOME trance and house music that had everyone in the area "groovin".
